Metrolinx (GO Transit's parent) has bought a portion of the
Guelph Subdivision from Canadian National. Here are press
releases from CN:
<http://www.cn.ca/en/news/2014/09/cn-sells-georgetown-kitchener-rail-line-to-metrolinx>

and from the Ontario government:
<http://news.ontario.ca/mto/en/2014/09/metrolinx-rail-purchase-means-better-service-for-riders.html>.

The CN release says that the segment in question runs from
"west of Main Street in Georgetown" (I presume that would
be at the junction of the Guelph and Halton Subs) to "a
location near Park Street in Kitchener." That's a little
west of the VIA/GO station. The Metrolinx release says
essentially the same thing.

Here's a map that shows what portion of the tracks used by
GO are now owned by Metrolinx:

It's kind of amazing to compare today's corridor ownership map with this map from December 15, 2009, when Metrolinx had just announced its purchase of the Newmarket Sub from Parkdale to Snider for $68 million. At that time Metrolinx owned about half of the GO rail network, now it owns almost all of it except for the Milton line (CP Galt Sub) and a couple of short stretches still owned by CN.

See also the maps and pie graphs on pp. 5-6 of
<http://www.metrolinx.com/en/docs/pdf/board_agenda/20130627/20130627_BoardMtg_GO_Transit_Update_EN.pdf>.

The change is even more dramatic if we count train-miles instead
of track miles. By far the highest frequency GO train service
is between Oshawa and Aldershot. On the "before" maps, that
was mostly CN. Only Oshawa to Durham Jct (just west of Pickering)
was GO. Now it's almost all GO, with only Burlington to Aldershot
still owned by CN. (A few rush-hour trains that originate/
terminate in Pickering are on CN briefly, between Pickering South
and Liverpool.)

To see how these routes fit into the bigger picture in the Toronto
area, see the map at
<http://www.proximityissues.ca/asset/image/reference/maps/pdf/Toronto_rail_map.pdf>
It's very poorly formatted, but it blows up well. Zoom in
to 400% of the default size. Note that this map is from 2012
and doesn't reflect GO's purchase of Oakville - Burlington and
now Silver - Kitchener. This map helps give you a better idea of
how the segments used by GO but not owned by it are important
lines for CN and CP freight, and so are likely not for sale.
