VIA 693, Sunday 6-29-14, two "Prestige service" cars on end

Sunday morning provided another interesting consist for 693, as seen pulling out from WMC. Consist and link to photos follow. Due to imminent heavy rain and high winds, I did not wait around to see if the two cars went out 693 as the consist I photographed was deadheading to the station. Enjoy!

Wonder where they are going, haven't heard yet from friends in Churchill that VIA is running there yet.

VIA is now operating regular service between Winnipeg and Gillam only.
Hudson's Bay Railway are presently  working  on the Gillam to Churchill section and hope to have the work completed  during the first week of July.
However VIA have stated that they will only  start to operate after they are completely satisfied  line  is safe.                          I have seen  it stated  that the  service may start after July 16th depending on  VIA's assessment . Who knows.

Hi Marc I think they are being used for training purposes only for the crew?
They are not in revenue service & not sure why they would put them on the
tail end of 693 when they won't ever be used on the Churchill line?
