For the Senneterre train
F40PH-3, baggage and a coach
for the Jonquiere train
F40PH-3, a coach and baggage
When I went from Senneterre to Montreal on July 29, 2012,
there were two coaches on each half of the train. As André
says, the baggage car was on the head end of the Senneterre
train and the tail end of the Jonquière train, so the
combined consist was
engine-coach-coach-baggage-engine-baggage-coach-coach.

Only a handful of passengers boarded in Senneterre, but
we gradually picked up people at stops in the middle of
nowhere, and by the time we reached La Tuque, both coaches
were close to full. We couldn't have gotten by with just
one coach on that trip. A lot of people got off in La Tuque,
but a fair number continued on to Shawinigan, Joliette or
Montreal. My trip report is at

Thank you guys for your info.

I'm going to be in Parent and Clova, PQ at the end of the month and will keep an eye out for the train.

Its interesting to note that the rail distance between the two communities is about 65 km and the trip takes about 1 hour whereas the distance by road is about 100 km and the suggested travel time is close to 3 hours.
