Following the link above photos of the Rocky Mountaineer trainset about half way down the page.
The Rocky Mountaineer train set that runs between Whistler, Quesnel, Prince Geroge to Jasper on its off days is parked at the West Coast Railway Association Yard tracks. Last week it arrived late to the yard apparently due to a rock slide somewhere up the line. Did not hear further details on this.
Take a look and you will see that the Baggage actually a power car is turned around backwards, so it messes up the wave!!
Wonder if they fixed this before it went out on its next trip.
There is only 1 goldleaf dome in this trainset as seen in the photo.
But when I rode this route a few years back they had 2 domes. At that time 1 had not been repainted from the old paint scheme messing up my photos for the trip.
We hosted a wedding at the WCRA Railway park last weekend posted lots of photos from the event just the trains not the family stuff.
The train blocked our taking our wedding train ride out a little further through the yard.
Lots of photos of vintage Canadian railway equipment that we rode in or used as photo backdrops for the wedding.
As the wedding party sat in the British Columbia vintage business car we discussed how nice it would have been crossing Canada in such a fine formal car so many years ago with a Royal Hudson Steam engine pulling the train.
