Although it's been in service for several months, VIA top brass,
the mayor and the local Member of Parliament will officially
open the footbridge next Thursday: <http://cnw.ca/a8wXA>.

I took the opportunity to mount the stairs in the Belleville station during my last time trainwatching there. Would you believe:
A. I was assigned my own sherpa - his name was Dorje.
B. I was assigned a bib number before I began the course.
C. I stopped at two water stops and ate several orange segments to keep my energy levels up
D. The door at top of stairs was locked since footbridge was not in use.

Tom, this must be the longest-running thread on this group. Still going since Nov 10, 2010! Almost as long as the stairs - and that was only half way for me then back down!

The answer is D.
